Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen 2017

Kenzie Goode of Londonderry was crowned Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen 2017 on February 12, 2017 at Pinkerton Academy’s Stockbridge Theatre. She competed as Miss Seacoast’s Outstanding Teen in the 13th annual Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen Scholarship Program, where she received the overall interview award and a preliminary talent award.
Kenzie’s goal is to become a Radio City Rockette. She has studied dance for over 13 years, including tap, ballet, jazz, ballet en pointe, modern, and hip hop. She has participated in the Rockettes Summer Intensive the past two years, and is a member of the American Tap Company.
During Kenzie’s year of service, she will be promoting Heart Healthy Living through her personal platform working with the American Heart Association (AHA). She has been involved with the American Heart Association since she was in the 2nd grade and participated on her school’s Jump Rope Team, raising over $23,000 for the American Heart Association. Each year, Kenzie organizes her team "Kenzie4Hearts” to walk in the American Heart Association annual walk-a-thon and has raised over $1900 in pledges and heart soap sales. This month, Kenzie and her grandmother partnered to make hand-knitted hats for babies for the American Heart Association’s “Little Hats Big Hearts” campaign.
Kenzie will be representing the Granite State at the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition July 25 through 29, 2017.
